Gonçalo Campos is a portuguese product designer. Graduating in product design in 2008, he soon after joined Fabrica, Benetton's communications research centre, in the design studio. This gave him the chance to work with brands such as SecondoMe, Seletti or Zanotta.
Since 2010 has been exploring the potencial of new products, and its strategic use, together with brands such as Munna, WEWOOD, Piodão Group, Mantecas or Vista Alegre.
Campos prides on finding simple solutions, through the sound use of materials and production methods, in a process that starts from within the object outwards. This results in recognizingly "smart" solutions, optimised for prodution and often with a certain humor; signs of his open thinking and curious attitude. These are products designed in a limbo between production saviness and practical and aesthetic values, in a quest to create truly remarkable products.
